L Ron Hubbard was one of the most controversial writers of our time. Due mostly to what his followers have done with Scientology of course, but if we can divorce ourselves for a moment from those goofballs and just look at what L Ron Hubbard himself has done, what he tried to do.
Over 800 written works. Almost all dealing with human mental maladies. Whether you agree with him or not- and I recommend actually reading his books before criticizing him- as so many have done with Darwin- it must be admitted that he was one of the greatest humanitarians of all time.
